SUMMER COURSES : ITALIAN LANGUAGE

The summer courses of the LABA are one-month courses held in July and September. Each course is about 40 hours of lessons (3/4 lessons per week); at the end of the course students are issued with an attendance certificate. Our Academy helps foreign students in finding the accommodation in Florence.

LITERACY PROGRAMME

1) Pronunciation and writing: pronunciation; the use of capital letters and of the apostrophe
2) The noun : gender and number; how to use the plural
3) The articles: definite and indefinite
4) The pronouns: personal; pronominal particles; pronominal particles ne and ci ; demonstrative; indefinite; possessive
5) The adjectives: qualifying; demonstrative; indefinite; possessive; numeral: the adjective's degrees (comparative and superlative)
6) The prepositions: simple and contracted
7) The conjunctions
8) The adverbs
9) The verb:
- The three conjugations
- The finite moods: the indicative (present; present perfect; imperfect; past perfect; future tense; future perfect); the imperative mood
- The infinite moods: the infinitive; the participle; the gerund
- The reflexive forms
- The passive form
- The auxiliary verbs
- The if clause (subjunctive and conditional)
