COURSE DESCRIPTION
The course aims to develop students’ knowledge and skills related
to all aspects of furniture design from design, to development
to production of prototypes. This course provides access
to highly skilled technical staff and traditional knowledge to develop
innovative new models for contemporary, industrial and
bespoke furniture design and production. The course will also
consider the importance of targets and visual communication
signs. Students will carry out personal style applied to a pieces
of furniture, in order to explore furniture design and different
materials.
Note: It is highly recommended that students be equipped with
a personal laptop for design projects.

ADMISSION
The course prepares professionals to coherently and effectively
furniture design and guide projects from conception to execution.

METHODOLOGY
Lectures, workshop practice and field studies, introduce students
to various materials and their properties, as well as their
engineering and production principles.
